Agreement

By using dutyhq.com or carryon.dutyhq.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the sites.

These terms cover our websites. The Duty HQ application at app.dutyhq.com is governed separately.

What these sites are

Informational websites about Duty HQ and its products, including a waitlist signup for Carry On, a forthcoming tool to help military spouses transfer professional licenses after a PCS.

Not legal, financial, or professional advice

Our sites describe a federal reimbursement benefit for military spouse relicensing costs, including references to NDAA FY2018 §556 and dollar amounts. That information is provided for general educational purposes only.

It is not legal advice, financial advice, or tax advice. We are not your attorney, accountant, or financial advisor.

Eligibility rules, dollar limits, required forms, and branch-specific policies change, and they depend on your individual circumstances — your orders, your dates, your branch, your state, your license.

Do not rely on this website to determine what you are owed. Verify with your branch, your installation's legal assistance office, or the finance office that processes your claim. We make no guarantee that any person will receive any reimbursement, or any particular amount.

Duty HQ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the U.S. Department of Defense, any branch of the armed forces, or any government agency.

The Carry On waitlist

Joining the waitlist:

• Is free
• Creates no obligation on you to purchase anything
• Creates no obligation on us to build or launch Carry On
• Does not guarantee access, pricing, or a launch date

Carry On does not exist yet. It is in development. Any pricing mentioned on our sites is our current intention and may change before launch. We may decide not to build it at all — in which case we will delete the waitlist.

Acceptable use

Do not use our sites to break the law, submit information that is not yours, submit false information, attempt to gain unauthorized access, scrape or harvest data, or interfere with the sites' operation.

We may decline service or remove waitlist entries at our discretion.

Our content

The content on our sites — text, design, logos, the Duty HQ and Carry On names — belongs to Duty HQ or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse it commercially without our permission. You may of course share links.

Links to other sites

Our sites link to third parties we do not control and are not responsible for.

No warranty

Our sites are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the sites will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information on them is accurate, complete, or current.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Duty HQ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of our sites or your reliance on any information on them — including any reimbursement you did or did not receive.

Our total liability for any claim relating to these sites will not exceed the greater of $100 (one hundred U.S. dollars) or the amount you have paid us, if any.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Duty HQ against claims arising from your misuse of the sites or your violation of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
